Bottling line upgrade

At Alita, three new bottling lines and two new spirit production facilities have been installed, the material warehouses have been expanded, and the storage systems have been modernised. ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Approximately 50 new employees have been hired.

After the revamp, production began in full in autumn 2019, significantly increasing the factory’s efficiency and production volumes. ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­

Event for Alita employees

After the bottling lines were upgraded, Alita employees got together to celebrate the successful completion of the work. MV GROUP Production CEO Algirdas Čiburys and Alita production manager Algirdas Ragelis discussed the changes, thanked the employees for their significant contribution in implementing them, and awarded certificates of appreciation to the most distinguished colleagues. After going over the results and thanking one another, the colleagues enjoyed refreshments and one another’s company in an informal setting.

Alytus City Festival

In June, the city of Alytus celebrated its birthday and for the first time ever, a large group of colleagues from the Alita factory took part in the parade! This was done at the initiative of the employees themselves, and was a great opportunity to show off our large team and spotlight the factory and MV GROUP.

Valuable insights from Italian wine experts­­­­­­­­

For over a year, Alita has been cooperating with world-renowned wine experts from Giotto Consulting, a wine and vine consultancy company.­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Connecting with them was prompted by the desire to develop employee competence and professional knowledge, as well as to improve the products and expand the range.­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ Our people in Alytus listened to the recommendations of the consultants and introduced technology for varietal aromatic sparkling wine, and then improved the production of sparkling wine.­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­ In addition, the factory expanded its product range by creating a new sparkling wine that is nearly half the strength.­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­­
