Edgaras Kazokaitis takes 2nd place in the Sommelier Contest

Our sommelier Edgaras Kazokaitis was the runner-up in the Lithuanian Sommelier Contest “Codorniu Zero Grand Prix 2022”, where he participated for the first time. The participants in this championship demonstrated their theoretical knowledge of wine regions, grape varieties and characteristics, as well as their practical skills in wine decanting, food matching and blind drink challenge. All tasks were judged according to the rules and guidelines provided by the Association Sommelier Internationale (ASI).

Organising events and training

Events, presentations and customer training are an integral part of our business. Last year our brand ambassadors were actively involved throughout the year in customer training, presenting news and contemporary ways to enjoy drinks as well as celebrating international holidays.

Gin Week in Lithuania

Traditionally, we organised one of the most exciting and biggest events held in Lithuanian bars – Gin Week. During this week everyone had the opportunity to taste the finest gins and cocktails represented by MV GROUP Distribution LT and to learn more about gin production. The week also included a variety of presentations and masterclasses for our partners.
