“MV GROUP Distribution Lithuania” news
The products we represent are the most popular in Lithuania
We are glad to know that our products are valued in the world, but we are even happier when both our products and imported products are valued and recognised by Lithuanian consumers. The project “The Most Popular Product 2020” implemented by the Association of Lithuanian Trade Companies announced the most popular and best-selling goods of major Lithuanian supermarkets.
Angostura Cocoa Bitters come to Lithuania
The latest “Angostura” product Cocoa Bitters was introduced to the Lithuanian market in October! Famous Lithuanian people and influencers as well as the representatives of Lithuania’s HoReCa sector such as bar owners, managers and bartenders were invited to the event. Over 300 participants gathered at this event.
Drink and cocktail trends in 2021
At the end of 2020, the team of “MV GROUP Distribution Lithuania” organised training “Drink and cocktail trends in 2021”. The purpose of training was to present the trends of drinks and cocktails of the coming year to the HoReCa sector representatives. Knowing these trends, bars will find it easier to adapt to customers’ needs and offer their desirable drinks. Big thanks to our ambassadors Rapolas, Edgaras and Tomas for sharing their knowledge.
The major trends that will prevail in the drinks culture this year are the following:
- Simple yet high-quality drinks that will be used as the key cocktail ingredient.
- Local products.
- Naturalness.
- Ecology (Zero waste).
“Voruta” – No. 1 wine brand in Lithuania
The wine “Voruta” produced by “Anykščių vynas” not only established itself, but also strongly grew its positions in the category of wines last year. The main reason for this was the launch of new products, which appeared on the shelves of the largest Lithuanian supermarkets. A wide variety and latest “Voruta” wines were available in Maxima, Iki, Rimi, Aibe and other supermarkets.
Online training for our clients
The pandemic has forced all businesses to change their operating models. The team of “MV GROUP Distribution Lietuva” also adapted to the new working conditions and was the first in Lithuania to start organising various trainings for its customers. The team of “Vynoteka” was the first to test the training by listening to a lecture on “Beluga” drinks by the mixology ambassador Rapolas Vareika. Although nothing can replace live meetings in shops or bars, online training has become a great alternative for those looking to improve their knowledge. We conducted such trainings throughout 2020 and will continue to organise them if necessary!

“Gin Week” in Lithuania
After the end of the first quarantine in Lithuania, the new “Taste Keepers” organised one of the most interesting and largest events in Lithuanian bars – “Gin Week”. During this week, everyone had the opportunity to taste the most interesting gins and cocktails represented by “MV GROUP Distribution Lithuania” and learn more about gin production. A variety of presentations and master-classes for our partners also took place during the gin week. We hope that the “Gin Week” will take place in 2021 as well.

We care about customer safety
We care not only about the brands we represent, but also about the safety of our customers! During both the first and the second quarantine, we did not stop taking care of our customers – wishing them safe work between quarantines, we gave them protective face masks.
